With the help of a Jewish student group and their rabbi adviser, we were able to turn a concession stand in an out-of-the-way location into a destination, featuring not just vegan falafel, but also sliced-to-order kosher turkey, pastrami and corned beef sandwiches on rye with a kosher pickle, as well as real kosher hot dogs. The rabbi guarantees everything coming out of the stand is kosher, and the stand has gone from being an underperformer to the stand everyone is talking about.
