Amerinet Central has announced that it has finalized a definitive agreement to acquire the group purchasing and insurance businesses of AllHealth. The acquired businesses will be operated under a new entity called AllHealth Amerinet, which will be owned by Amerinet Central. The agreement, originally announced on March 10, became effective March 24.
The deal includes AllHealth’s group purchasing business, which has more than 960 customers, and an insurance business that contracts with more than 85 hospitals and covers 100,000 employees. "We have asked all suppliers that have current contracts with AllHealth to maintain pricing and will be working with each of them to extend those contracts through a transition period," said Amerinet Central President Victor Samolovitch in a statement following the announcement.
"Additionally, AllHealth Amerinet members will continue to be able to access AllHealth-owned contracts including those in the food service program."
