A popular local restaurant named Muru set up a temporary location in a limestone mine about 80 meters below ground, reports Reuters. Located near the Finnish town of Lohja, it debuted its 10-day run with a four-course menu costing $128 per person.
Taking off on the recent “pop-up restaurant” fad, the dining venue bills itself as a “pop down” restaurant. Included in the reservation is an opportunity to descend another 35 meters into the old mine for a tour.
