Award-winning restaurateur Rick Bayless (c.) recently brought authentic Mexican cuisine to Chicago O'Hare International Airport with his new Tortas Frontera by Rick Bayless, located in Terminal 1. Bayless was joined in the ribbon cutting by Elie Maalouf, president/CEO of HMSHost Corp. which operates dining and shopping at O'Hare, and Rosemarie Andolino, commissioner of the Chicago Dept. of Aviation.

Tortas Frontera's menu offers travelers a choice of tortas, Mexican griddle-baked sandwiches, and mollettes, warm open-face sandwiches. There are also breakfast tortas like Egg & Chorizo and Egg & Rajas (roasted, peeled chile strips), and breakfast mollettes like Queso & Cajeta (a thickened syrup usually made from carmelized milk). Lunch and dinner tortas include Cubana, Chipotle Chicken and Roasted Garlic Mushroom.
