Taher Inc., has opened a new, expanded production kitchen and food processing facility in Milwaukee that replaces a smaller operation in nearby Brown Deer, reports the Milwaukee Business Journal. With a workforce that will now grow from 18 to 85 full- and part-time workers over the next two years, the 10,800-sq.ft. facility will produce fresh food for Taher clients like charter schools, senior nutrition programs, grocery stores and gas stations. Taher, based in Minnetonka, MN, was No. 23 on Food Management's latest Top 50 Contract Management Companies listing with 2013 revenues of $145.3 million.
