Schwan's Food Service Names New President

Schwan’s Food Service, Inc., has named Trevor Bynum president effective January 27, 2014, with responsibility for the strategic direction and growth of the Schwan Food Co. subsidiary that serves schools, universities, restaurants, healthcare facilities and convenience stores.

CEO Dimitrios Smyrnios. “He has a proven record of leading successful, growth-driven teams in multiple channels within the food industry, and he has shown a passionate commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers.”

Bynum most recently served as the vice president and general manager of WhiteWave Foods Channels, where he was responsible for business with foodservice customers as well as club, drug and discount stores. He has also held leadership, general management and marketing roles with other WhiteWave Foods divisions and with General Mills.
