Markus Glueck has been named president of cooking equipment manufacturer Rational USA, succeeding Björn Rowland, who will now concentrate on his role as area vice president for North America. Glueck joined Rational from WMF Americas Group, Inc., where he was President/CEO and a member on the Board of Directors.

"I look forward to further developing the US market by offering maximum customer benefits together with our strong team and partners," Glueck says. "In order to offer the best possible tool for hot food preparation, Rational invests not only in research and development, but it also employs over 250 chefs worldwide to achieve this goal. With a team of chefs, we are able to better understand the needs of each foodservice operation and provide them with solutions day after day."

"I am excited to welcome Markus Glueck," says Rowland. "I am convinced that he will accelerate the strong growth of Rational USA even further thanks to his global experience and comprehensive management know-how."
