These turkey sliders make a great a lower-calorie, and slightly more filling, option to a Happy Hour or snacking menu. The sweet chutney and savory spice combination allows for easy pairing with a variety of cocktails.

Ingredients

Chutney
2 green kiwifruit, peeled and finely diced
1 tbsp. golden raisins
2 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Sliders
1 lb. lean ground turkey
1/4 cup finely diced onion
2 tbsp. chopped cilantro
11/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
12 mini burger or small dinner rolls, split and toasted

Steps

  1. Prepare Chutney: Mix kiwifruit, raisins, sugar and salt in small bowl, just prior to service.

  2. Prepare Sliders: Combine turkey, onions, cilantro, curry powder, salt and pepper. Shape into twelve 2-in. patties.

  3. Grill patties over med. heat 2 to 3 min. on each side, turning once, until cooked through. Place on buns; top with chutney.
