Topped with Wisconsin queso quesadilla, sharp cheddar and monterey jack cheeses, this quesadilla-inspired pizza packs tons of flavor into every bite.

Ingredients

Pizza dough
1 cup salsa (your favorite variety)
1/3 cup (about generous 2 oz.) Wisconsin queso quesadilla cheese, shredded
1/3 cup (about generous 2 oz.) Wisconsin sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/3 cup (about generous 2 oz.) Wisconsin monterey jack cheese, shredded
1/2 cup green onions, thinly chopped
cilantro leaves (optional)
lime wedges (optional)

Steps

  1. Let dough come to room temperature, covered, for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 500°F.

  2. Roll dough into 13-inch circle on well-floured surface. Transfer to baking sheet and spread salsa evenly over dough. Top with queso quesadilla, cheddar, monterey jack and green onions.

  3. Bake for 12 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve with lime wedges if desired.
