Couscous gets the breakfast treatment with dried blueberries, dried cherries, golden raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg.
6 cups whole-wheat couscous
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup dried blueberries
1 cup dried cherries
1 cup golden raisins
Hot water as needed
Cinnamon to taste
Nutmeg to taste
Ground clove to taste
Ground allspice to taste
Salt to taste
1. In large bowl, combine first five ingredients. Add enough hot water to cover mixture.
2. Cover bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let sit until all water is absorbed.
3. Remove wrap and add spices as desired. Portion in half-cup servings.
