Bibimbap is a popular Korean dish. White rice is topped with sautéed and seasoned vegetables, turkey, an egg yolk, and red chile sauce. The ingredients are stirred together thoroughly just before eating.

Ingredients

1 cup peanut oil
8 egg whites
8 cups cooked rice
24 oz. smoked turkey, cubed
4 carrots, shredded
8 oz. baby bok choy, quartered, wok-fried
8 oz. long beans, trimmed, blanched, wok-fried
8 oz. soy beans, blanched
8 egg yolks
Fresh basil, cilantro and mint, as needed
Red chile sauce, to taste

For flavor drizzle:
8 tbsp. soy sauce
10 tbsp. sesame oil
4 tsp. sugar
4 tsp. cooking wine

Steps

To order, heat 2 tsp. of oil in bottom of a heat-proof individually-sized serving dish (preferably a glazed cast iron pot). Crack egg white into oil; top with rice and remaining ingredients. Garnish with egg yolk, fresh herbs, red chile sauce and the flavor drizzle.
