Color a drink rosy pink and it immediately shouts “summer.” This bubbly cocktail gets its pretty glow from sparking rose wine; ginger liqueur and candied ginger add a welcome touch of sweet heat and fresh raspberries, a juicy seasonal accent.

Ingredients

1 oz. (2 tbsp.) Domaine de Canton (ginger liqueur)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. simple syrup
5 fresh raspberries
Ice
3 oz. (6 tbsp.) sparkling rose wine
Candied ginger, for garnish

Steps

  1. Combine ginger liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup and 4 raspberries in cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake vigorously.

  2. Pour sparkling rose into a champagne coupe glass. Strain shaken raspberry mixture into glass with rose. Garnish with a fresh raspberry and a piece of candied ginger.
