A little takeout sampler with tri-tip beef marinated in a lemongrass garlic mixture and grilled on skewers. Package with peanut sauce and a combination of shrimp, chicken and vegetable Vietnamese summer rolls in a takeout container.

Ingredients

1 cup chunky peanut butter
3 tbsp. spicy chili sauce
2 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 tbsp. lemon grass, chopped
1 tbsp. ginger, grated
1 cup soy sauce
12 oz. flank steak, thinly sliced
16 bamboo skewers, soaked in water
 

Steps

1. In a bowl, mix together peanut butter with chili sauce and season to taste. Reserve.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together garlic, lemon grass, ginger and soy sauce. Season to taste.

3. Marinate beef in soy sauce mixture for at least 20 minutes. Shake off excess and thread beef onto skewers. Grill 2-3 minutes per side until done.

4. Package 4 skewers with peanut sauce and a combination of shrimp, chicken and vegetable Vietnamese summer rolls in a take out container.
