These grape, blue cheese and almond truffles are versatile and fun. The grape in the center is a surprise treat. They can be served as hors d'oeuvres or salad toppers.

Ingredients

3 oz. blue cheese or goat cheese, at room temperature
3 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
12 seedless California grapes
2 oz. slivered roasted almonds

Steps

1. Place cheeses in food processor and pulse until well incorporated.

2. Roll grapes in cheese mixture until about 1/4 in. of cheese covers each grape; place on plastic-lined cookie sheet and refrigerate 1 hr.

3. Roll grapes in almond slivers until completely covered; transfer to platter and serve at room temperature as hors d'oeuvres, on top of salad, or as cheese course with port.
