Euro Pizza Cafe

At the Euro Pizza Cafe, this Old World-style pizza gets a New World accent with the addition of fresh avocado. Along with the classic mozzarella cheese, chef Kraya adds feta cheese to the topping, as well as a garlic-parsley paste and pepperoncini for extra zip.

Ingredients

Pizza dough for one 12- to 14-in. pizza

¾ oz. garlic, chopped

1 tbsp. chopped parsley

1 oz. olive oil

5 oz. cooked chicken breast, diced

4 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ large avocado, cut into 8 slices

1 oz. red onion, sliced

1 oz. pepperoncini, chopped

1½ oz. feta cheese, crumbled

1 oz. kalamata olives, sliced

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 475 F. Shape pizza dough into 12-inch round. In small bowl, combine garlic, parsley and olive oil to form a paste. Brush paste onto pizza dough.

2. Sprinkle half the mozzarella over brushed pizza dough. Top with chicken, red onions, pepperoncini, avocado, feta cheese and olives. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on op.

3. Bake pizza for 10 to 20 minutes or until cheese melts and crust is browned. Cut into slices to serve.
