Chile Black Bean Burgers with Avocado, Fresh Salsa & Crispy Onions

YIELD: 16 servings

2 cups plum tomatoes, sliced
1/3 cup yellow onions, diced
4 tsps. fresh cilantro, chopped
16 frozen black bean burgers
16 hamburger buns
48 thin slices avocado
1 cup crispy onion straws

1.    Combine tomatoes, onions and cilantro; set aside.
2.    Cook burgers on well-oiled 350°F griddle or flattop grill 8 to 10 minutes or internal temp reaches 160°F, turning halfway.
3.    Fill each bun with 2 Tbsps. tomato mixture, 1 burger, 3 avocado slices and 1 Tbsp. onion straws.
