Margaritas and mojitos are two Latin cocktails that have garnered many North American fans. This version incorporates fresh blueberries to elevate the margarita into a special seasonal cocktail.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh blueberries, crushed
1/2 cup simple syrup
1 cup ice cubes
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lime juice
4 fl. oz. tequila
4 fl. oz. blueberry juice

Steps

  1. Combine crushed fresh blueberries in a shaker with the simple syrup and ice; shake to muddle.

  2. Add the orange juice, lime juice, and tequila and shake to combine.

  3. Strain into ice filled glasses and top with a 1 oz. shot of blueberry juice.
