The classic Arnold Palmer—a mix of iced tea and lemonade—is a summertime favorite. Mixologist Kim Haasarud takes it up a notch by sweetening the drink with a housemade honey syrup. Serve in a tall frosty glass filled with ice cubes for cool sipping.

Ingredients

2 cups alfalfa honey

1 cup hot water

1 cup lemon juice

1 cup cold water

2 cups unsweetened brewed tea

Steps

  1. For alfalfa honey syrup, combine honey and hot water in large glass measuring cup; stir until honey is dissolved.

  2. In pitcher, combine 1 cup honey syrup, lemon juice and cold water; stir well. Add tea and stir again. Refrigerate until well chilled.

  3. To serve, pour over ice and garnish with mint.
