Sweeten a kicked up barbecue sauce with agave. The sauce will taste sweet, but not contain any additional refined sugar.

Ingredients

1 each (12x5) oval flatbread crust (Rich’s)
1 tbsp. agave blended with 2 tbsp. Barbecue Sauce
2 oz. grilled chicken, chopped
1 oz. roasted Corn and pepper blend (Simplot)
1 oz. caramelized onions
1 oz. cotija cheese
1 oz. monterey jack cheese
1 tbsp. crumbled gorgonzola cheese
1 tbsp. chopped cilantro

Steps

  1. Lay oval flatbread pizza crust down on work surface. Spread 3 Tbsp. of Agave Barbecue sauce over the flatbread, followed by chicken. Sprinkle with roasted corn and pepper blend, caramelized onions, and crumbled cotija and gorgonzola cheese.

  2. Bake in a 350°F oven for 15 minutes.

  3. Just before serving, sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
