Whip up eggs with orange juice and zest for a refreshing dessert. The strawberries add color contrast and a taste of spring.

Ingredients

6 eggs
3/4 cup fresh orange juice
1 tbsp. orange zest
1 cup cream cheese, divided
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup sliced frozen strawberries
3 tbsp. whole milk
8 mint leaves

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Combine eggs, orange juice, orange zest, 3/4 cup cream cheese and sugar; blend for 2 minutes.

3. Pour mixture into hotel pan. Place pan in water bath and place in oven. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

4. Remove custard from oven and refrigerate for 1 hour to cool.

5. Blend strawberries, remaining cream cheese and milk into sauce.

6. Cut cooled custard into 2-inch squares. Gently place custard portion into bowl. Top with 2 tablespoons of strawberry sauce and garnish with mint leaf. Cover and hold in refrigerator for service.
