A galette that that would be a tantalizing finish to any meal. Golden brown pastry is filled with sweet and juicy fruit. Every bite is perfection.

Ingredients

3 lb. fresh California nectarines, peaches and plums
Flour, as needed
3⁄4 lb. prepared puff pastry
3 oz. butter, cut in small pieces
3⁄4 cup sugar
 

Steps

  1. Peel peaches; pit fruit, slice 1⁄4-in thick.

  2. On floured surface, roll out pastry sheets to 16x12x1⁄4-in. thick. Cut each into 8 rectangles. Place on ungreased baking sheets and fold in 1⁄2-in. on long edges.

  3. Arrange 1⁄2 cup fruit slices in center of pastry. Dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375° F until pastry is puffed and browned, approx. 20 min. Let stand 5 min. before serving.
