Wesleyan Named Top Veg-Friendly College

The vegetarian advocacy group PETA2 has named Wesleyan University the most vegetarian-friendly college/university in the United States, with offerings like veggie chicken red curry with steamed broccolini and organic jasmine rice, three-mushroom vegan ragu with penne pasta, and barbecue seitan. The school finished second in 2008.

Following Wesleyan, the rest of the Top 10 in order were Oberlin College, American University, the University of California at Santa Cruz, the University of South Florida, Purchase College (SUNY), the University of Puget Sound, the University of Illinois, Northwestern University and the University of Pennsylvania.
