Virginia Tech Plans Latest Eatery for Fall '12 Opening

Virginia Tech plans to open its newest dining hall, Turner Place, this fall on the academic side of its campus. The two-story, 35,000-sq.ft. facility is budgeted to cost $33 million and will house eight restaurant concepts ranging from national brands like Qdoba, Jamba Juice and Bruegger's Bagels to self-developed brands like 1872 Fire Grill (featuring a 5-ft. char grill that is completely wood fueled), Atomic Pizza and Origami (a Japanese styled steakhouse concept).
