A new food truck at the University of Texas is serving up a fresh take on fried chicken by offering only a halal version, reports The Daily Texan.

The Longhorn Chicken replaced another food truck, Clunkers, at the beginning of the semester and is run by chef Eddie Windwillow, who says the chicken is made according to Islamic law. All of the chickens he uses come from “a good living situation” and are blessed before he receives them, Windwillow told the Daily Texan.

“I want everybody to try my food, and if you’re Muslim and all you can eat is what is traditionally prepared according to halal, you can finally try something here that is outside that realm,” Windwillow told the website.
