Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., is drafting a policy to address students sneaking into its dining hall, The Lee Clarion reports.
After renovating its Deacon Jones Dining Hall to include fenced-in outdoor seating, dining services has noticed students using the outdoor gate to enter the dining hall without paying.
The school’s dean of students office is currently writing a policy that outlines the consequences for students caught in the act. The dining team has also warned that Sodexo, its foodservice vendor, may raise prices to make up for the lost funds.
