The University of Maryland Dining Services will be turning to students from the school's design students to sharpen its marketing strategy, reports the Diamondback student paper. The main goal of the initiative is to market UMD Dining Services as a brand and build awareness about its healthy food options, sustainability undertakings, menu variety, hours and locations. The two initial hires will be a graphic artist and a student to aid in communication and social media.
