The University of Kansas Dining Services has opened Impromptu Café, a sit-down restaurant located in its Kansas Union complex that will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Impromptu replaces Milton’s Restaurant, an outlet of a local multi-unit that only lasted through the fall semester. Impromptu’s menu includes seven sandwich choices, beer-battered fish, butternut squash ravioli, grilled margherita pizza and more than a dozen vegetarian choices, including freshly-made hummus and a quiche of the day.
