The newly renamed and renovated Cat’s Den has been a big hit on the campus of Western Carolina University, reports the West Carolinian news magazine. The venue is now not only a dining location but a social space with the addition of lounge seating, more than a dozen arcade games, two pool tables, a foosball table, a ping pong table and a plasma screen TV with Nintendo Wii. The C3 c-store, managed by campus dining services provider Aramark, also remains open in the complex. Hours have been expanded and the Cat’s Den is now open from five to 11 p.m. seven nights a week.
