The greatist.com website recently undertook a study of college campuses to determine which were the "healthiest" and here are the results showing the "Top 25." Take it for what it is worth but don't ignore it.

While the list is obviously subjective, it did incorporate factors that can generally be described as the current "buzz" about each school's general environment and culture, including its campus dining program.

Given that this site and others like it are frequented by young college-age viewers, the accuracy of the rankings is not the important consideration. It's the perception they leave with the target demographic, and those perceptions have a cumulative effect. College dining directors are well advised to pay attention to web ephemera like this because prospective customers do.

By the way, their Top Five are...

1. Bowdoin College
2. Stanford University
3. Virginia Tech
4. Rice University
5. Washington University in St. Louis
