Texas A&M has already received more than $40 million in savings from outsourcing its food and other service jobs to Compass Group and could save even more in the next 10 years of the contract.

Texas A&M has already received more than $40 million in savings from outsourcing its food and other service jobs to Compass Group and could save even more in the next 10 years of the contract, reports the Bryan Eagle. According to public records of the deal, the school has already received $40 million of the agreed $46.5 million signing bonus. It will also receive five percent commission on all retail, catering, conference and meal plan sales in the first year of the contract and 10 percent in the remaining nine years.
