Syracuse University has posted QR codes in its campus dining halls to enable students to get nutritional information about menu items quickly, especially as concerns food allergens, on their tablets and smartphones, reports the QR Code Press. The initiative is a collaboration between Syracuse Dining Services and the school's Student Association. Other QR codes posted around the dining centers provide information on what the day's menu will be.
