Purdue University is consolidating its resident dining and Memorial Union operations into a single entity under the Housing & Food Services Dept. at a cost savings of a reported $300,000 a year, reports the Journal & Courier. The move means the elimination of two dining court managers and eight dining court supervisors. Catering functions had already been consolidated over the summer. The move does not affect dining venue hours or locations.
