Princeton Review Publishes Green College Guide
April 21, 2010
Princeton Review, which publishes an annual guide to colleges that rates institutions on various aspects of academic and campus life issues, has released a guide to “green colleges. Princeton Review’s Guide to 286 Green Colleges tabulates schools across the nation that the Review has deemed as having “an above-average commitment to sustainability with their infrastructure, activities and initiatives.”
The book, which was compiled in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council, does not rank the schools listed. Instead, it provides rating for each school in a variety of green-related areas, including LEED certified campus buildings, renewable energy use, sustainable foods, recycling programs and green degree programs.
