From Groundhog’s Day to National Tortellini day, at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., students have fun guessing what will pop up next. Putting himself in students’ shoes helps Charles Couture, resident district manager with Chartwells, and the dining team at Quinnipiac University come up with a fun roster of free, perfectly timed action station/pop-up events throughout the school year, surprising students when they most need a pick-me-up.

“Who wouldn’t love free hot chocolate after a long day of classes?” Couture says of a recent winter pop-up. Check out the other pop-ups, timed for maximum impact over the school year.
