OSU to Sample Several Hundred Possible New Menu Items This Fall

Ohio State University Dining Services will be offering some 250 limited-time options at its dining location menus this fall to gauge student interest.

Ohio State University Dining Services will be offering some 250 limited-time options at its dining location menus this fall to gauge student interest in them, reports the Lantern campus paper. They will include gourmet hot dog bars, quinoa pancakes, vegetarian calzones and street tacos.

In addition to the new offerings, OSU Dining Services has also made changes to its meal plans, which last year had left many students with unused blocks that the department partially refunded at $3 a block. For this year it added two more blocks to the traditional plan and made it unlimited, and also added two new plans, one with 20 blocks per week and one with 25 thet are geared to incoming freshmen who prefer not to try to budget a 350- or 450-block plan.
