Boston University’s newest dining hall, Marciano Commons, has opened inside the university's brand new Center for Student Services, reports the Daily Free Press campus paper. Occupying three of the building's six floors, it replaces three former dining halls and is expected to serve about 5,000 meals a day.
The facilities include a bakery and late night cafe in the basement, and a dozen food stations on the first and second floors, along with 920 seats. Among Marciano's distinct features are two separate kitchens for preparing gluten-free and vegan dishes. BU's dining services are managed by Aramark.
