Iowa State University names new dining director

Mohamed Ali will oversee the university’s campus dining services, effective Jan. 11.

Iowa State University said it has named Mohamed Ali its new dining director.

Starting Jan. 11, Ali—a auxiliaries operations director at Ohio University-Athens—will oversee ISU’s campus dining services, including four dining centers, 17 retail operations and central food stores.

"I am pleased that Mohamed will continue to build on this operation's success,” Tom Hill, acting SVP for Student Affairs, said in a release. “I know that the staff and the division are looking forward to his leadership and the tremendous experience of successful dining operations that he brings with him.”
