By concluding a deal with Piccadilly Food Service to manage its onsite dining operations, Crichton College, Memphis, has given its meal plan holders access to the commercial restaurants managed off-campus by Piccadilly Food Service parent Piccadilly Restaurants, which operates more than 130 fast-casual units across the Southeast. On the campus, Piccadilly will manage Crichton’s primary dining facility, the Comet’s Landing Café.
“We are very excited about the program that we have assembled,” says Piccadilly Food Service Vice President Paul Tuennerman. “The transferability of the meal plan to our local restaurants, providing the students with the opportunity to use their meal plan in our off-campus locations, is certain to provide the value and flexibility that today’s students are demanding. The Crichton College community will have the ability to enjoy the traditional favorites from our Piccadilly cafeterias as well as a range of choices from our BrandScapes retail portfolio.”
Tuennerman says this new venture is a natural for the new onsite dining division of Piccadilly, which currently services 22 accounts is eight states in various segments, including schools, colleges, senior living facilities and B&I and government sites.
