Reber-Thomas Dining Hall reopened this fall with new stations and seating arrangements, as well as improved facilities and décor. New stations include Mongolian Grill, Homestyle barbeque, a Rise & Shine Breakfast Nook open all three meal periods, a Smoothie/Coffee station, and the Training Table, offering high-performance meals. The remodel also doubled the size of the allergen-free Simple Servings station.
Doc’s Diner has been expanded and split into two distinct concepts: Doc’s Food on Demand with a pre-order kiosk, and Doc’s Gourmet To Go, which will offer an online ordering system through the university’s website as well as a drive thru, the first on campus. The Tilley Student Center has added four concepts— Wholly Habaneros, Bella Trattoria , Natural! (a smoothie/juicer station) and Simply To Go (healthy grab-and-go)—to its retail concept mix.
A dining plan upgrade now gives students unlimited access to AYCTE locations on campus along with 10 retail bonus meals and $200 in Flames Cash usable around campus and at certain off-campus restaurants. This fall Liberty will partner with the Campus Garden to serve fresh locally grown produce and Reber-Thomas will incorporate part of the student-grown and managed crops into its menus.
