Oct. 3—For students interested in on-campus meal options, College of Charleston made some big changes for the 2013-2014 school year, including new cafeteria hours for each dining hall, additional late night hours, a larger variety of meal choices and plans for a new Starbucks in Addlestone Library.
New weekend hours for City Bistro and Liberty Fresh Food Company dining halls took effect at the beginning of the school year. In recent years, both dining halls remained open all weekend. Liberty now closes on Friday at 2:30 p.m. and remains closed until Sunday. City Bistro operates regularly on Friday and Saturday but then closes for the day on Sunday.
This change allows Dining Services to allocate more resources into the new late night options available at City Bistro. “Last year we conducted numerous surveys that were telling us that students wanted late night meal swipe options,” said Brittany Collins, the Marketing Manager for Dining Services, in a recent statement.
