Marlon Mazier, a cook for Boston College Dining Services, has become the first from the college market to win the Massachusetts Restaurant Association's top culinary prize, reports the Boston Business Journal. A 30-year veteran of BC's dining program, Mazier won with a record number of votes from the association's 1,800 members. He had followed his father, also an employee of BC Dining Services, to the school in 1983, originally as a student, but he went to work there after he got married. His two daughters are graduates of BC.
