Here are some of the frontline and back-of-house staffer submissions from the higher education dining community that Food Management received in response to its call for nominations of Foodservice Heroes who stepped over the past year to keep customers fed.

When Food Management sent out a call for nominations of Foodservice Heroes—individuals who have exemplified the dedication and commitment to their customers and organizations—we received over 600 responses. Earlier, we highlighted select individuals from all the nominations we received, including several from campus dining programs. Featured on the following pages are other submissions from college and university dining operations of frontline and back-of-house staffers who stepped up to ensure that students and staff continued to be fed over the past year. The stories are in the lightly edited words of the respective nominators and are listed in alphabetical order of nominees’ last names.

Because of the large number of responses, we have broken this listing into three parts. Following are those for individuals with last names beginning with A through H. The two other lists are for those with last names beginning with I-Q and R-Z
