This year’s Silver Plate class is highlighted with four winners in the noncommercial industry: Julie Jones, director, nutrition services, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, in Healthcare; Mary Hill, executive director of food services, Jackson (Miss.) Public Schools, in Elementary & Secondary Schools; Nona Golledge, director Kansas University Dining, in Colleges & Universities; and Edward Sirhal, president, Restaurant Associates, in Business & Industry/Foodservice Management.

The winners were announced today at this year’s International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) Chain Operator Exchange (COEX) in Las Vegas.

Silver Plate winners are nominated by IFMA members and industry leaders, and then selected by a distinguished jury, including national trade press editors, foodservice experts and past award winners. From the Silver Plate winners, one is chosen by the jury to receive the foodservice industry's most prestigious recognition, IFMA's 2015 Gold Plate Award, which will be presented at the 61st Annual Gold & Silver Plate Celebration—taking place in Chicago on Monday, May 18.

"It is our privilege to honor this year's class of Silver Plate recipients," said IFMA President and CEO Larry Oberkfell. "The Gold & Silver Plate Awards honor the operator community and acknowledge the leadership and dedication these particular individuals have put forth to advance the foodservice industry."

Joining the four noncommercial winners are:

•  Independent Restaurants/Multi-Concept: Michael C. Gibbons, president and CEO, Main Street Ventures
•  Chain Full Service/Multi-Concept: John Miller, CEO, Denny's Restaurants
•  Chain Limited Service: Kat Cole, group president, FOCUS Brands
