NYU Dining operates foodservice at the Washington Square and Brooklyn campuses under Aramark and Lackmann Culinary Services, respectively.

Initiatives introduced this fall at NYU-Washington Square include new flex-only meal plans with more dining dollars to boost convenience and flexibility for students when eating on campus, as well as an All Access plan to provide students unlimited meals.

Also, Peet’s Coffee and Tea opened its new location on the second floor of the Kimmel Center with increased space and outdoor seating, and Sidestein Gourmet Market opened at the Weinstein freshman residence facility with meal exchange options for hot meals, sandwiches and to-go salads. The Torch Club faculty and staff restaurant opened this fall to students for its buffet style lunch at its Tap Room venue.

The Brooklyn campus introduced the Tapingo online ordering service to improve speed of service and reduce line congestion during peak hours and added deli concept Mondo Subs and a Starbucks We Proudly Brew station to the Jasper Connection venue.

Also notable is the Kosher Café on the Washington Square campus, which offers a 100% supervised/certified kosher program served daily and a weekly Friday night Shabbat meal.
