Pentagon to Nuke "Cafe Ground Zero"

The US Dept. of Defense has announced plans to replace "Cafè Ground Zero," a foodservice outlet in the Pentagon's central courtyard that had achieved notoriety during the Cold War as "the world's most dangerous hot dog stand." It was so named because, supposedly, Soviet war planners, who saw high-level American military brass congragating in there en masse— usually around mid-day—assumed they were meeting to plot war plans, so they made sure that a couple of nukes were always pointed at the eatery in case of war.
The cafe, which has been closed for the last few years, will be replaced with a new $1.2 million 50-seat outlet next fall. But it did outlast the missles pointed at it...
