The Ontario (CA) Pubic Library is seeking a liquor license for its onsite Page One Café, reports the Contra Costa Times. The cafe is operated by contract firm SMG, which is requesting a full liquor license. It opened in three years ago as part of a renovation project and serves a menu of specialty coffee drinks as well as soups, salads, hot and cole sandwiches and pizza. Despite the full license application, plans initially call only for a wine bare concept, not hard liquor.
