Culinary Services at Michigan State University in Lansing has leased a food truck to serve students displaced by the renovation of the cafeteria at Shaw Hall. The truck serves about 200 customers per day during the week, parked behind the residence hall. On Saturdays when the Michigan State Spartans play a home football game, the truck moves to Spartan Stadium to become an additional point of sale for fans.

Guy Procopio, director of Culinary Services, says the truck cost the department $30,000 for a one-year lease. It offers a variety of quick-service food items.
