April 26—Apple Inc. is set to build a new employee-only cafeteria building after the Cupertino (Calif) Planning Commission gave its approval earlier this week.

The company gained approval to build a a new 21,468-square-foot cafeteria exclusively for Apple workers. The aim of the eatery will be for it to be a place for employees to freely talk business without fear of eavesdropping. Apple already has five employee-dedicated cafes, plus roughly a dozen smaller cafes that offer grab-and-go breakfast and lunch options.
