This year, foodservice at BMC-San Antonio is transitioning to a room service ordering system for patients, which will increase flexibility around when patients can dine. The service will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. While in the process of hiring a new executive chef in January, the nutrition team launched two new concepts at its central dining facility: a Chipotle-style burrito bowl action station and a grab-and-go format with ready-made grilled foods aimed to cut down on line-wait times.
