To give students a special cup of joe even when they’re off campus, Miami University sells 12-ounce bags and K-cups of its Miami Grind coffee blend, created in partnership with Ohio roastery Rooted Grounds. The coffee’s packaging was designed to evoke elements of the Miami, Ohio, campus, playing into buyers’ school pride.

Appealing to a different demographic, the parent company of Leisure Care senior living communities also owns Trucup, a proprietary low-acid coffee brand that is served at its eateries and can be purchased online.
